A small site — living off a laneway
Completing this residential neighbourhood’s townhome block, this project used the existing driveway access from adjacent properties, reducing unnecessary pavement to expand the landscaped area within the site. The solution balances garage access, family entries, storage access, and a park-like setting amidst large, retained cedar trees. A bold combination of forms was used to reduce the overall scale, create individuality, and ensure privacy for neighbouring homes, with the added benefit of private roof decks offering views of the North Shore Mountains and more natural light.
